I live in Pleasant Grove, am a mom of two, and was a new in 2013 Primary Music Leader. I am not comfortable in front of large groups, so was TERRIFIED when I got the call. In fact, I cried for almost a week. It's the first time I've ever wanted to say no to a calling.
However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really did love it - at least most of the time. I learned a LOT. Yet another testimony that callings are inspired and that we are blessed when we do our best to fulfill them. I may not be a natural, but thanks to the Lord and all the other brothers and sisters who posted their great singing time ideas, I felt like I got along okay. Now I've been called to the Primary Presidency, but will finish out posting my year of ideas for your use. I'll also start posting my sharing time plans now that I'll be doing those instead.
